Nobody objects to a woman being a good writer or sculptor or geneticist if at the same time she manages to be a good wife, good mother, good looking, good tempered, well groomed and unaggressive. ~ Leslie McIntyre

Home From Work...

So I realized today that I can't log onto the WiFi at work! That was a major bummer for me. Apparently they changed the code, and I don't have it. Going to have to fix that for sure!
Anyway, I got in a decent workout this morning. I was able to log 3 miles by 6:30! I didn't run the entire thing, but I ran a decent portion. Baby steps...right? Either way it felt good to know that I'm pushing my body a little harder every time I work out. It will one day be strong enough to handle 26 miles!!

Jason had to stay home with Regan today, but they were able to feast on a yummy (or so I was told) breakfast. Apple Pie Breakfast Casserole!

It looks a little crazy, but it was super good and super easy. I put canned biscuits in a 9 x 13 cake pan and poured the chunky applesauce I made earlier over it. I baked it according to the biscuit directions. I think it would have been even better if I had torn the biscuits into pieces and sprinkled cinnamon over them, but...live and learn and try new things.
MY breakfast was really good too!

I made my go to oatmeal with frozen blueberries, but I stirred in 1 tbsp of peanut butter and drizzled a little honey over it. I was only able to eat about half of it because a parent made us HOMEMADE PUMPKIN MUFFINS!! They were soooo good! I was good too and only ate one. No pics though due to the fact that I left my memory card in my computer!

I was able to pack myself some dinner leftovers for lunch today which was a really good thing. Meatloaf and instant mashed potatoes were on the menu today at work (YUCK) and we were out of veggie burgers. My homemade pasta, Morningstar Farms Buffalo Wings and bag of grapes hit the spot!

Even though lunch at work today was not for me, it did give me an idea for dinner tonight. We're going to munch on some homemade mashed potatoes, sweet peas and Morningstar Farms Veggie Riblets. The weather outside is cold and rainy so something warm and filling is absolutely in order!

I'll keep you posted...
