Food, Friends & Fun...

So before I tell you how AMAZING dinner was tonight I have to give a shout out to our fabulous server Joe! Jason and I took Linsey and Regan to eat dinner at Dewey's tonight. We walked down with our good friend Jeff (sadly Jen had to work) and his daughter's Olivia and Mia. Going out with friends is always a good time! Joe handled our loud, kid-filled group with no hesitation and didn't seem bothered by the fact that Regan (the two year old) threw her sippy cup AND her fork on the floor or the fact that we crammed seven people around a six top and crammed all our over sized pizza and salad on it as well. So Joe, the next time we eat at Dewey's we will absolutely be requesting you to be our server. I hope you don't mind!

As I mentioned earlier in the day Dewey's has FAN-TAS-TIC food! We gave the Harvest Salad a try. It was a mixture of greens and pumpkin seeds and figs and boursin cheese and tossed in an apple cider vinaigrette. So good! And the best part was that our server (Joe) was nice enough to put the bacon that originally came with it on the side. Jason and Jeff didn't mind either. They each got more bacon that way!

In an earlier post I accidentally called my favorite pizza the Green Machine when in actuality it's the Green Lantern and it's the best pizza EVER! We ordered the large so that we had enough to bring home for tomorrow's lunch, but that makes NOT gorging yourself a very difficult task when it is soooo good. It's LOADED with tomato sauce, pesto, mushrooms, artichoke hearts and yummy, creamy goat cheese. I highly recommend it if you're a vegetarian and looking for something a little different, but non-vegetarians (like Jason and Jeff) will love it too.
Thanks to the good food, the good friends and the GREAT server, Joe, dinner was amazing and to top the evening off Starbucks is right across the street. We ended on a high note with the Pumpkin Spice Latte that only comes this time of year. It's one of Jason's favorites so any chance he gets to have one always makes him a happy camper.

I hope that everyone else's Saturday night has been as awesome as mine has! Now it's time to put the girls to bed and curl up on the couch with Jason and watch a movie. I hope he picked out something good. This entire day has been perfect so far. What better way to round it out then...a SCARY movie perhaps? Goodnight everyone...
