TGIF!!! (I'm sure I've said that before!)

Hey Guys! :)
Today is Friday and I couldn't be happier. This week has been crammed full of stuff to do and places to go and too many dishes needing to be washed and I'm just ready to veg for a little while. I still haven't figured out how to get Linsey's musical video from my blackberry to my computer, but of course I have been at work all day so that might be why!
I didn't sleep very well last night because we have a new addition to the family! She wasn't meant for us, but since we're suckers she is now the newest member of the Sparks' family. Her name is Maggie (according to Linsey) and she is probably less than a year old. She was abandoned near Jason's work and he and some co-workers had been feeding her for about a week or so until he just couldn't stand leaving her out in the frigidly cold temperatures any longer. She was meant to go and live with one of my co-workers, but Jason became quite attatched to her so she now lives with us. And she slept in mine and Jason's bed last night which is why I didn't sleep all that well. Every time I moved I was worried that I would turn over on her or disturb her in some way. I slept right through my alarm and didn't get out of bed until a little after 6:00 this morning. Here is Maggie Sparks - our new cat...

Now that she's been formerly introduced I'm sure you will be hearing lots of funny stories about her attacking our dogs or spilling things are what have you...cats can be NUTS!!

Now - on to F-O-O-D!
Breakfast was so good today. It is just so cold now and a giant bowl of steaming hot Sunday oats is the closest thing to Heaven I have found so far. The combo was a tad different, but nothing major. I had 1 cup of Sunday oats, 1/2 cup of vanilla soymilk, 2 scoops of sunflower butter, 2 scoops of pumpkin butter, a handful of dried blueberries and a small banana sliced. What can I say - that's my fav and I'm a creature of habit. :)

I drank my travel mug of hazelnut coffee before the oats were even in the microwave, but that was super good too. The work day went by smooth and quick (just like I like it) and before I knew it - my tummy was telling me that it was time for lunch. I brought another really good sandwich  from home on my multi grain Arnold Sandwich Thins. I had roasted garlic hummus, sliced avacado, sliced jalapeno black olives, sliced red onion, muenster cheese and leaf lettuce on it with a cutie on the side. This is quickly becoming my new favorite sandwich - no question!

I hate to admit this on the internet, but the sandwich was so good that I wolfed it down in about five minutes!! Beat that professional eaters of the world!
The rest of the day was smooth sailing too and it was time to go get Regan and hit the road. Which is exactly what we did! Now we're home, the girls are playing witht he cat (and ignoring the dogs) while Jason does the last bit of his homework for the semester. I'm on my way out to pick up some dinner for us. I'm thinking either Qdoba or Chipotle.
Decisions - Decisions...

And FYI - my new website is coming along nicely. I'm hoping to debut it in the next few weeks!! :D
