The Holiday Craze...

Happy Saturday!
Has anyone else braved the holiday craze at a mall or department store?? Wow! We just got back from the West County Mall here in St Louis, but first a quick food recap...

After a terrible nights sleep (it was freezing in our bedroom last night) we woke up late (thankfully) and headed out to have bagels and coffee with the Pomranka's (welcome back routine of normal life!) The girls had a good visit and we got to talk with Jeff a little while munching on yummy, chewy, warm gingerbread bagels with hazelnut cream cheese. Plus I threw in the large hazelnut coffee for good measure...would you have expected anything less??

After breakfast, Linsey took off for a play date with Olivia and Mia at the Pomranka house and we set off to do a little after Christmas shopping. :(
We took Regan and drove all the way out to West County Mall because Jason decided that his watch was too big to fit comfortably on his wrist and wanted to return it. So - off we went.
After returning the Hugo Boss watch and deciding there wasn't much else he was interested in we left Nordstrom to roam the rest of a mall we aren't really familiar with since we don't live all the way out in West County!! We live closer to the city and usually do all of our mall shopping at the Galleria. We found Jason's favorite store, American Eagle and spent the majority of our time there. Jason browsed for new jeans...

While Regan and I entertained ourselves in front of the GIANT mirror!! :)

Jason FINALLY decided on one pair of jeans and I returned a sweater and cami that the girls got for me. Then it was time for lunch because Regan couldn't handle anymore shopping (and truthfully neither could I!!) We decided upon California Pizza Kitchen.

We had about a 15 minute wait before getting a table so Regan and Jason played a little game of "drop/pick up" in the hallway outside.

Finally we got a table and ordered some food!! Regan refused to sit in a booster seat, but she looked SO adorable sitting at the table next to Jason that I HAD to snap a quick pic!! :D

We were all pretty hungry by then. Regan (of course) wanted mac n cheese and Jason got the Chipotle Chicken pizza. I ordered the Grilled Vegetable Salad which was romaine lettuce tossed in balsamic and then toped with warm roasted corn, sundried tomatoes, avocado, asparagus, eggplant and zucchini. It was quite tasty and HUGE (I ordered the HALF) I couldn't finish the whole thing, but I devoured a good portion of it.

We're home now and Linsey will be here in a few minutes. I gotta get laundry sorted and get some other house cleaning done before Regan wakes up from a VERY late nap.
Hope everyone's enjoying their weekend!!
