What a Wednesday!

Hey Readers!
For some reason today has been another crazy day. The rain God's were my friends again and held the rain off long enough for me to run this morning. I made it up the hill again! It feels great that I do a little better every time I go.
My breakfast wasn't Sunday oats today - can you believe that?! It was a yogurt bowl which was yummy. This morning's bowl was 1 cup of cinnamon puffins, 1 container of Oikos nonfat, plain greek yogurt, 2 scoops of Super Fruit spread and a few drizzles each of honey, real maple syrup and vanilla.

Work was work today. Nothing exciting and nothing bad. It was just one of those days that happened and then was over. Actually, those are nice once in a while. :)
Lunch was leftovers from last night tweaked ever so slightly. I have to change it up a little. I can't eat the EXACT same thing for dinner and then lunch the next day. Ok, I can, but would rather not if it can be avoided. In this case it was avoided nicely. We had the whole grain pasta with Trader Joe's alfredo sauce and broccoli last night. So this afternoon I took the left over pasta which didn't have much broccoli left (because I picked most of it out last night) and added some mixed vegetables to it and 5 oven cooked Morningstar Farms Buffalo Wings. It gave it a really nice kick with some added crunch.

The FUNCTION drinks from Whole Foods are quickly becoming one of my favorite things to drink and Night Life is the BEST!
My lunch was quite spicy, so I needed a little sweet afterwards and a few of these bad boys are still hiding in the school - needless to say, I had to have ONE!

The weather today has been cold and rainy so Jason picked up Linsey, I picked up Regan and we went home to veg for the night. I had a snack kind of late...

So I wasn't very hungry for dinner. I made the quick bread over the weekend and the girls have devoured it this week. So for dinner I took the last piece, cut it in half and spread a little creamy almond butter on it.
(after I warmed it of course!)
It was really good...if I do say so myself.

I've spent the evening keeping the girls from killing each other, working on some things (I'll tell you soon - I promise!) and giving the girls baths. OMG!! Regan peed in her potty for the first time tonight!! That's so exciting, but she's not telling us that she has to potty yet, so I'm not pushing the issue just yet. But we're making some progress for sure.
Linsey has GLEE paused and waiting for me so I'm putting on my comfy Life Is Good socks and turning off the computer.
Hope you are all having a great Wednesday. Talk to ya tomorrow!

Lunch looks yummy, I'm not a vegetarian but I do like the veggie buffalo "wings"

TaTR: I usually don't like spicy things, but the buffalo wings are just spicy enough for me to give my pasta that kick I want. How's the mixer??
