Nobody objects to a woman being a good writer or sculptor or geneticist if at the same time she manages to be a good wife, good mother, good looking, good tempered, well groomed and unaggressive. ~ Leslie McIntyre

Goodnight Monday. See Ya Next Week.

I did it! I haven't touched the dishes and it feels kind of good. I know I have to do them tomorrow, but I'll worry about it then. :)

Tonight's dinner was something old...
(as in we've had it before - not old as in old!)

something new (from Whole Foods)...

The flavors from this just exploded in your mouth and I know that any meat eater would be fooled because I was almost nervous eating it. Sometimes I try these meat alternative dishes and can't eat them because they are too meat-like. This one was teetering on the edge of being just that, but I ate it so the girls would eat it. And before you question...that IS sour cream you see on my plate. A girl needs a little sour cream sometimes.

AND something...Candy Cane?!

It's official! Linsey and I are ADDICTED to Candy Cane Joe Joe's, but we were well behaved and only had two each. Regan didn't like hers and gave it to the dog who seemed to truely enjoy it!

Now, the girls are in bed, tomorrow's lunches are packed, coffee is ready to start brewing promptly at 6:00 in the morning and everyone's clothes are layed out for the day. I'm in good shape (except for those damned dishes :) ) and I'm heading to bed. Jason's home and we've got some catching up to do!
Goodnight bloggers. It's been real...

The dinner looks yummy. I was raised mostly vegetarian (because my mom was b-r-o-k-e), but eat meat now. We do have veggie nights about once a week for dinner, and I look forward to getting some great ideas from you :)

TaTR: That's my new nickname for you! I hope you don't mind... Thank you so much for all your comments and positive words. It really means so much. I hope I can help you out with any recipe ideas. We have been vegetarian for almost 7 years, but my husband is still a meat eater - barely.
Just wanted to let you know that I do read your blog, but really have very little time to comment with 2 girls, a full time job and this blog that I'm trying so hard to turn into something besides fun. But I do read it and think your kids are too cute. Your husband reminds me a lot of mine actually. :)
