Date Night. WOOT WOOT!

Don't misunderstand - I love my girls with all my heart, but occasionally I love to leave them with someone else (just for a few hours). It's an important and required part of marriage to have date night once in a while. And mine (last night) was great.
We started out at home getting ready and ordering pizza for the girls and the sitter (thanks Kayla).

Here's how we started our evening (taken by Linsey :) )
And then we were there.

We sat at a sidewalk table and the weather was perfect. I got a little chilly later on, but it was well worth it to people watch and enjoy the end of cool (not freezing) evenings.
Having him across the table looking back at me wasn't too bad either.

No need for this...

We already knew what we were getting - the Traditional Mezza for Two. It's the best of both world's for us. It comes with mostly vegetarian and vegan items, but also has a couple of meat items for Jason as well, but he devours most of the vegetarian items like a tiger tearing into a raw steak!

This right here is Heaven on a platter!

We got an entire plate of Baba Ganoush on the side because a mix up took place with our order and something else was substituted in it's place. All the better for us!

My plate mostly consisted of these 3 items - cheese dumplings, hummus and (my absolute favorite) FALAFEL!
I also chowed down on warnek inab (grape leaves stuffed with rice, pine nuts, currants and spices) and tabbouleh. It was mine and Jason's kind of dinner and bonus - NO KIDS!
We opted out of the dessert which is so yummy, but we were stuffed and trying to get to the movie.
So we paid the bill and made two stops...

gotta have coffee!

And gotta check on the babies (I know, but I'm a mom. I worry.)
Then we ran into Trader Joe's for snacks to sneak into the movie because I am NOT paying $10.00 for some reeses peanut butter cups and twizzlers!

We made it to the movie with time to spare.

The movie was AWESOME, SCARY and I didn't even eat my snack!

Oh well...still got it for later.
Now it's time to make Sunday Morning pancakes!
Hope that you all had a great Saturday and an even better Sunday.

See you tonight for the Sunday Segment...

Thank You! We had such a good time. It's really nice to get out without the girls sometimes. It's so needed as a couple ya know?
